FMS is often called in to deal with major conflicts in organizations. The issues can be anywhere from conflicts between employees and managers, conflicts between state and federal government, to conflicts between colleagues and Boards and CEO’s.

FMS’s unique approach, which differs from typical mediation techniques, has been very successful. We focus on the future and where we can find common ground, use our leadership inventories which challenge people’s assumptions about the other person, and balance our intention to both behavior and psychology and the desire for results and actions. This combination can bring people and organizations from the brink of lawsuits and personnel actions to building new relationships and team building. We usually assess the situations carefully using interviews to hear all sides of issues. We then test the results of the interviews with our objective analysis and inventory results to find solutions that are sustainable. To ensure sustainability, we assume that conflicts can re-occur and help our clients anticipate new challenges through our follow-up consultations at key periods after the core consultation.
