The town of Winchester, Massachusetts, a suburb north of Boston with a population of 21,300 is seeking a Superintendent of Schools.  Winchester is recognized as one of the top performing districts in the state and includes seven schools serving 4440 students, with a budget of nearly $41,000,000. 

The Winchester School Committee seeks a superintendent with highly developed communication and leadership skills to lead an exceptional staff and student body to the next levels of success and achievement.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Commitment to authentic learning for all students

  • Ability to promote the growth and development of all teachers and administrators

  • Ability to envision, implement, and sustain initiatives
