FMS has become a national leader in developing leadership programs and support for homeland security teams in EPA. Our work at Headquarters, with special teams such as Emergency Response teams (ERT), the Decontamination team (NDT), and the Radiation team (R&IE) along with our work in Regions allows us to help integrate EPA strategies and build capacity for potential national disasters. We often team up with EPA retrieval leaders and technical experts to ensure that our work on leadership development is grounded in real technical issues.

FMS also provides coaching, planning, teambuilding and conflict management services to other EPA offices in both Regions and Headquarters. Our success in building relationships between states and headquarters in Region 8 has resulted in a nomination for an award for increasing the amount of toxic waste sites in one year.
